9月28日 The Wedding is OverWell, Chad and Teresa's wedding went off without a hitch. They had a beautiful wedding and Teresa made a beautiful Bride. She is a lovely girl, I do have to say, Chad did not look so bad either. Will have pictures later. 8月27日 Today I am sad. Christy has been having some seizures. She is doing better, but she is having a difficult time. School started and the kids are all in seventh heaven. We took Kaylee and Cody for shoe and tux fittings yesterday. John had his done also.. So we are ready to go I think. So much to do , so little time....have to get better, have to get things done....have to have to have to.........  8月21日 What a weekToday, I go see the surgeon to see how I am doing. I think I am doing just fine. We shall see. Terry and John have worked out their differences. Terry is working for his dad again. Not a partner just working. I knew that if they got to talk amicably they woudl be able to work this out. They both love each other but things do get hard sometimes. Anyway, that chapter of the book is now closed. FOR GOOD. School starts on Thursday and Friday this week. The girls are happy. I am not sure about the kids. Kaylee does not want to be in second grade because the work is harder. Cody can't wait for first grade. Kaylee and Cody have the same teacher. Tyler is in preschool and he is ready to go. Dustin is in 5th grade and he is going. He has not said to offly much. IT is school......... Nothing much else here going on. Just getting ready for that beautiful wedding that I am waiting for. and yes, Chad I do have your pictures out. Have had them out for months. Just don't have them scanned. I will get to it ASAP....... 8月11日 Things are changingSchool is about to start so......I went shopping before I had surgery and bought alot of the school supplies that the kids are going to need. Then I sent John and Kim to get some and then I sent Missy to finish up. Now all the kids, including Terry's have their school supplies. Then last week end I used a motorized wheel chair and went and put some clothing in layaway at Walmart for Kim and Missy's kids. I had so much fun buying a couple of outfits for each of them. It really is fun to help when I can. Speaking of school.....Kaylee is in second grade this year. Cody is in FIRST grade already and believe it or not, Tyler will be in preschool. Now to really make me old an gray....Dustin is in fifth grade. I hope he does better this year. He had a hard time of it last year. Terry still is not speaking to his Dad. Well, you know what I say.....what goes around comes around. Someday.....maybe Terry will realize just what we tried to do for him and his family. If not well then I guess we learned a big lesson. One that several people tried to tell us about........Don't do it......But then who ever said that John and I listen either. lol. My incision has healed nicely. I was really afraid with my diabetes that it would not heal right but it is great. No infection, beautiful scar if I do say so myself. Cody, Tyler and Patrick wanted to see the incision today. Cody wanted to know if it hurt when they took out all those staples. He asked me if I cried....he is such a ham.....I love them all so much. Kaylee was not interested in looking at it so...she did not. Dustin is at King's Dominion with his IQuOLIC group this week. He has had so much fun with all the things that they have been doing. He is doing somewhat better with Mom, but they are teaching him how to respect her. That is good for him. Two very dear to my heart people have passed away. A child that I had as a patient sometime ago and my dear brother in law. Please keep their families in your prayer. 8月8日 Surgery is overWell, surgery is over and I did very good. I am walking without my walker and using a cane. I have set my office up in my living room so that I can keep my leg up. My PT said that is a good idea and he thinks I am doing well. I can get into the bathtub already and still follow my limitations. However, I have had limitations since my last back surgery so it was difficult from then. I have learned how to do things so I don't hurt myself.
For those of you who don't know, Terry left the John's business. He quit and signed off of the business on Monday. Now let me tell you something here. We gave him 50% of the business, and paid for all the tools. He helped pay for supplies and gas for the Van and the insurance. WE paid the rest. He was not happy. I gave Brenda a job being my "secretary". I only paid her $100.00 per week, but she only worked about 1/3 of the day. She was allowed to bring her kids here and her meals were furnished. She also was paid when she was not here and when she went to Ohio. We paid to move them here and was told they would give it back....We also bought all the kids school supplies. She complained that she was bored and that she did not like helping me after I had my surgery. The only thing she had to do was help me, she did not work during that time. So.....let it be....we did alot for them and Terry says that he is the only child we have that appreciates us. HE is wrong....he is the only child we have that has walked on us the way he did. He would have made over $400. this week, .....but he left....now we will be able to help someone else make some money and the business will not fail.
Chad's wedding is soon. Can't wait....I am getting a new dress.....it will be nice....
Got the other kids school clothes and their school supplies. They are really excited about it.
Have a great one.... 7月18日 surgerySurgery is scheduled for Thursday. I am not able to sleep tonight for some reason. I am not sure why but it just won't come.
Kaylee, Cody, Tyler and Patrick are due home this week end. I can't wait to see them when I get out of the hospital. It will be nice to have them home.
Dustin is on a white water rafting, trout fishing trip. He is so happy. We fixed up his tackle box and Grandpa re strung his fishing pole. He was ready to Camp.
Zach and Matt seem to have adjusted well to NC. Zach has made alot of friends and things are going good . Hope things stay that way.
Well.....wish me luck. 7月9日 The Party is over.Well, our grandkids on Kim's side are in Ohio and will be for a few weeks. Sure do miss them but I am sure they are going to have fun with Grandma Barbie and Grandpa Dan. They deserve a break from their MOM. Gotcha honey.......
All else is going fine.
I am having my surgery on July 20. I am really not sure what to think about it, it is going to take sometime to repair I am sure. It will be okay though. It is just going to be a long hull. But, I will be fine.
John bought me a beautiful fountain today for the front. It is absolutely beautiful. It lights up so it will be really pretty at night.

John has been sick for about 2 weeks now. He seems to be doing a bit better today. He went to work this AM anyway. I think I am coming down with it though, because I feel like carpola today.
Rain is about to get the better of us. Our backyard is a local lake and it is nasty. We are suppose to have more rain today and tomorrow with high's in the '90's. YUK
I am having surgery for my hip finally. It is scheduled for July 20. Don't know a time yet. Here they tell you the time the day before. SO........I won't know until then.
Everyone else is doing fine. Dustin really liked CAMP with IQuOLIC. He is going back to a camp, white water rafting and trout fishing I think on July 17. He loves these camps.
Kim's kids are going to Ohio to be with Grandma Barbie for a couple of weeks. I am glad Barb is able to do that, the kids miss her.

6月23日 A great yet scary day.Brenda and I received our Audit results today for the home. It was a bit scary because it came certified mail. Oh...oh....now what????? WE RECEIVED 100%. That was really great news. Oh, what a day.
Then Larry, Missy, Chad and Christy's Dad called me and told me that Lima was having a tornado. Scared the begeebees right out of me. I could not find Chad but I did find Shelley in the basement with the cat. I let her go and called Missy to call her so I could continue to look for Chad. Found him in the basement at the bank. Well that was okay, called John, then Brenda called her sister, and Aunt Pat and they were okay. Then I called the nursing home and they reported that Mom is okay and all is well......I will say that this afternoon was a rather troubled one, but from what I understand all is well......WE are all well......
Dustin will be home today....We shall see....I am sure he is fine. Melissa actually did great while he was gone. She accepted him going to camp like a trooper and did a good job. 6月21日 Long dayToday Brenda and I sat through a very long meeting and now we have a lot of work to do. The new guidelines have come down and we have to get busy and get it done for Burklo Home. We shall have it completed and we will make a go of it.
Dustin, my boy, has went on a camping trip. His first. I will let you all know how he did. I am proud of him for going and his mom, Melissa for letting him go. That must have been hard for her and she did a good job. He is doing much better with eating. He likes to eat again. He was taken off a medication that was causing him to not want to eat. Not a good thing. His mom Melissa made that decision and was a very good one. I am proud of her.
All else is going about the same. Busy busy. John and Terry are swamped as usual. Gotta get them to fix my office though. Time will tell.
Zack and Matt are doing well. Kaylee has a crush on Matt. We have told her they can't be boyfriend and girlfriend and Kaylee gets a little irate but, she is only 7 and that is okay.
Cody and Kaylee have to go this week end to get fitted for the wedding. So....to Wilmington we go. At least that is what Grandpa said we are doing. So here we go again.
6月16日 Fast PaceWell, nobody reads this or nobody has a comment. I guess either or is okay, I still get to say what I want.
Well, we got Terry and Brenda moved to NC, they have their own place and seem to like it here. The boys are fine and Brenda is working for me as a secretary. She is finding out my job is not so easy and hers is not going to be real easy either. She has to keep me straight. Now that may be a problem. lol.
Wizmical Flooring is doing great. I am very happy for the guys. Work keeps coming and they are very busy. Worked hard this past week. But...they reap the pains and the benefits.
Burklo Home is flourishing. If I only had more hours in a day, I could do so much more, but you know.....what I don't get done today, I can always do tomorrow.
Gotta get the Kaylee and Cody to Wilmington this week, for their fitting for the wedding. They are out of school now so I will be doing that soon.
Not much else to say...oh yea...I guess I do want to say something here, just not sure how to say it but here goes.
I don't know if my family that has "forgotten me" reads this or not, but in case you do.....I am done with all of you. I don't have any plans to be near you or talk to you.....Christy does NOT need any of you either.....NOW OR EVER. NOR do I. so......go on about your life without us. WE will survive and we will go on without you trying to run our lives. It seems that some of you think that we are bad people and can't live without you in our lives. Well......I can live without any of you and will. I am very independent and am able to take care of the things that I need to take care of and the people that I need to take care of. The ones that need me are taken care of also. I am fine. 6月1日 Moving DayThis has been a week and a half. We are in Ohio and we are taking back all of our stuff that has been in storage here for 4 years. We are also moving Terry, Brenda and the boys back. So......we packed up an AFB truck and we will be on our way. I am getting bored here. I am ready to come home. Now Christy on the other hand is having a ball. She has seen alot of her old friends and is making good use of her time. She is loving every minute of it. She actually does not seem to miss me much. She is with friends from Toledo today and will be most of the day.
Brenda's last day of work is tomorrow so we will leave early Saturday morning. It took us about 14 hours to get here because of construction. I am sure it will take us that to get home too.
I was concerned about my medicaton that has to be refrigerated because we are in a motel without little friges. So we went to Wal mart to get a big cooler and acutally found a portable fridge for travel. It works great and keeps my meds cool. I like it. Now I am going to find John a coffee pot so he does not sigh 100 times in the AM trying to wake me up so he can go get coffee. He is driving me NUTS.....But then....... 5月17日 A Happy Day in the neighborhoodLast night we went and got the van for John and Terry. It seems to be okay. I wanted to drive it, so John took me out. It is so big. I have a heck of a time getting in it. Too short in the back side I guess. Anyway, he said test the bright's I thought he said test the brakes, so he just about went through the windshield. Well, at least it was not a bad mistake. They have been working all day on it so that they can get things going and have a much better place to do things.
I went for my xrays today. Fun fun, but now it is done. We shall see the results this week end. I can't wait to have this thing done. My hip hurts so bad, when I go out it hurts even worse, then I end up taking the pain meds. YUK.....
Christy is going to Myrtle Beach this Friday with Carobelll.....She will be back late, but she loves it. She can't wait. She always has a good time and that is what is important.
I am going to be going to some classes for my business in the near future (when I either get out of the hospital or before I go in) so that I can do better. I am hoping to open a home for geriatric patients. It is to be a 3 or 4 bedroom home and I will need to have 24 hour care for them. That is okay. Many people need jobs and I want to make this work.
5月15日 Happy Mothers DayHappy Mother's Day to all the mothers out there who read this.
 The girls and I had a very nice day for mothers day. Contrary to the statement that we were fighting all day. That is totally untrue. We had a small cook out. Missy got me a beautiful teddy bear birth stone, Kim got me a cake and Christy got me a pin for my lapel. Chad's has not arrived yet, however, I am told it is on the way.
We cooked out with hotdogs and hamburgers. Those kids like all that cajun stuff, so they had to make mom a plain one. And Derriek did a beautiful job at cooking. Kim and Missy got chips and Kimmy brought potato salad and cole slaw. IT was really nice, and the girls helped me clean up. That was great. Next cook out over Memorial Day they can help again. It was so nice, not to have to do it all. They said they really enjoyed the day and so did I very much. The kids love playing in the back yard and that they did.
John got me a pretty potted plant.
We bought a van for the business. We will pick it up on Wednesday. The guys can't wait. They are very excited.
Hope your Mother's Day was as great as mine was. 5月10日 A Baddddd weekWell, so far this week it has been bad and this is just Wednesday. The axle on the trailer broke and the guys still have a job this week. So.....we have to figure that out. Other than that, I think it is going pretty good.
I am waiting to see the MD. I took the papers for my FMLA to Mary yesterday and she is going to fill them out and send them to my boss. So that is taken care of. Dustin has gained another pound. Christy was having a bad day yesterday but I think that will be over today. She just was out of sorts. By the way, I don't think I told you. She won the cake walk at Special Olympics last Friday and she won a couple of ribbons. She was elated.
Kim is doing better. She is back to losing weight. We had a cook out Sunday and she looks good. I don't get to see them much. Kaylee spent Saturday night with me because her brothers all had someplace to go and she didn't so I was the chosen one. She and I went shopping. Now, she wants to go to the mall. We have to find the time for that very soon. I was going to try to take her today, but there is a pickle in the plate right now. If I can get that resolved then, we just might get to do it. We shall see.
Everyone forgot about Nurses Day this week. Not one of the kids have said a word about it. Mothers day is this week end. Missy was upset because we had thought about going to Ohio but since all the difficulties with the trailer we have to spend the money on that. Anyway...Chad has sent me a funny mothers day card.......... 4月30日 This week has.....This week has been very busy. First, Christy was really sick and Missy took her to the doctor. She still is not much better. Continues to cough and hack.She is on an antibiotic and cough medicine that does not seem to be working. Will call the MD in the AM.
Dusty is doing much better and I feel good about what is going on there.
Wizmical seems to be starting off at a good point. They have jobs this week for their selves and I am very happy with that. I have to do some phone work for them this week and plan to do so on Monday and Tuesday.
I will be going this week to get some of the things done for Burklo Home so we can get our license. That is a good thing.
The Diego Caring Committee did a awesome job and the $$$$ was very much appreciated I am sure. I was so proud to be a part of that little boys life and able to help with his committee. I feel that it was an honor.
Teresa's mom is having a shower for her on August 5 in Lima. Guess I will be in Lima then if the Good Lord is willing and the creek don't rise.

I went to a training today for Burklo Home. Very interesting and now I can do what I need to do for the DD population. I am thankful for that.
John and Terry seem to be doing well with the business. They are out getting supplies again because they just got a call for a vinyl floor. What can I say. 4月25日 On their wayWell, as you all know John and Terry are in business. They are out marketing as I sit here typing this message. They got their first call for them just moments ago. WAY TO GO GUYS. Now, I just got to get them to call me back asap.
4月23日 Okay, okayOkay, I got blasted. The business, WIZMICAL FLOORING is John and Terry's business. John wants Terry to be a big part of it. I goofed and said that John started the business when in fact they both have started it. Terry is equally responsible for the business. Sorry Terry. Now.....I still think that it is going to take hard work and alot of determination to get this thing going. I have been in my business now for 3 years and it is just now really taking off good. On a different subject......Kim is doing better and I am very glad of that. She still has alot of soul healing to do and I can tell you from experience she will remember that day for the rest of her life. I do and every year, even though no one else knows, I know that day and say HAPPY BIRTHDAY and I love you to my child.
Dustin is doing some better, I am so proud of him, he is starting to eat more than what he had been. I just hope that he continues to do this. I think he will. His doctors appointment was changed until this coming Friday, so we shall see more then........However, in the mean time, eat, eat, eat... Last I heard, he was up to 62 pounds. GOOD JOB DUSTIN!!!!!!!
I haven't told you all about school.....Thank Goodness we are in the last two weeks of class. This quarter has been a very long one with all that has been going on..... However...right now, before the final video....I have a 4.0 average with a 4.0 accum. I am very proud of myself. I plan to graduate in January or March.....I have to decide how may classes I want to take at once..
